The University of Saskatchewan (U of S) AAPS Student Chapter was founded in January 2015 at the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, Saskatoon, SK, to be the second of its kind in central Canada. Starting with only 10 members, the chapter currently embraces more than 60 members from various disciplines such as biotechnology, clinical and epidemiological studies, pharmacology, toxicology, medicinal chemistry, analytical chemistry, pharmacokinetics, natural products and nutraceuticals, pharmaceutical quality as well as drug discovery and development, and pharmaceutics; reflecting the rich diversity of the U of S campus.

The U of S AAPS Chapter is currently housed within the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition. Additionally, the Chapter is financially supported by the AAPS (annual chapter stipend) and by the generous support of the College of Pharmacy and Nutrition.
